While we all are excited about the new Windows 10 version of 2004 (20H1), leaks started to pour out regarding the next build already. Tips from Twitter and core Windows followers reveals the next version’s internal code name, as Manganese. This was found in the Windows 10 Preview Build for Ring users who can check in the PowerShell by typing a simple code. Further, there yet another takeaway from this leak about the Windows 10 20H1 launch, which was fixed in May this year.
Microsoft isn’t lazy us, as it already seems in track for launching what it promised. The Windows maker has pledged to launch two major software updates a year, one in May and other in October or November November. And this year’s update, Windows 10 version 2004 (20H1), is set to roll out for everyone in May. This was confirmed, along with the next build’s (20H2) codename as Manganese!

If you’re a Windows 10 version 2004 Ring user, you have the chance to check for yourself. Running a command as Get-VMHostSupportedVersion in PowerShell would should you all the virtual configurations supported by your system. This has the list showing the names of previous and upcoming builds.

As you see from the tweet, the last two names hint about Windows 2004 (20H1) update on May 2020 and the next version, possibly 20H2 as Manganese. These were tweeted by Tero Alhonen and later picked up by Windows Latest. The later one further claims the next Windows update after Manganese could be codenamed as Iron, which may come in early 2021.
Irrespective of hassles created by Coronavirus, Microsoft is gearing up anyway. The company needs to go accordingly, as it’s preparing to line-up with the Azure’s schedules. The upcoming version, 20H1, is expected to bring the refreshed look of Windows, as we discovered in recent leaks about improved designs of icons.
