Dell’s Alienware announced a revamped AW2524HF monitor this week with AMD FreeSync Premium and VESA AdaptiveSync certification.

The Fast IPS paneled monitor supports a 500Hz refresh rate, 0.5ms latency response time, HDR10, and other features to offer the best display experience. Priced at $650, this monitor will go on sale in the US from September 12th onwards.

Dell Alienware’s Premium Monitor

Alienware, Dell’s gaming brand, announced a new AW2524HF monitor earlier this year. The grand 24.5″ display comes with a lot of premium features, with the most notable one being its 500Hz refresh rate.

Revamping this grand product, Alienware launched yet another AW2524HF monitor, adding support for AMD FreeSync Premium and VESA AdaptiveSync certification. Aimed at AMD GPU users, this monitor will be tear-free and stutter-free gaming, says Alienware.

With a low latency response time of 0.5ms, the revamped AW2524HF monitor has HDR10 and 99% sRGB color coverage. Its TUV-certified ComfortView Plus emits less harmful blue light but is intended to deliver true-to-life colors and consistent visuals from any viewing angle.

Coming to physical design, the Alienware AW2524HF monitor has a built-in retractable hanger for your headset and a height-adjustable hexagonal base to consume less desk space. For connectivity, there are two DisplayPort 1.4 slots, one HDMI 2.1 port, and five spaces for USB 3.2 cables.

Priced at $650, the monitor will go on sale via Dell’s website from September 12th onwards, with unknown details for other regions. This stands as one of the premium display offerings from Dell, via its gaming brand, that competes against Acer and Samsung monitors in the same space.
