Today, iOS 14.2 Beta is rolled out for the developers, which gives a hint that these rumours might be true. iOS has a radio frequency disclaimer in the Settings app; it brings some safety warnings for the user on how to use the device and the accessories which come with the device.

According to the reports, on 9to5mac, iOS 14.2 is coming with a new version of this file which has mentioned only about “headphones”. It should be “supplied headphones”, but it is not there, and “headphones” suggests that Apple is going to release a new iPhone which will not have Earpods in the box.

Just before the iOS 14.2 beta 2 was out, the RF Exposure menu mentioned:

To reduce exposure to RF energy, use a hands-free option, such as the built-in speakerphone, the supplied headphones, or other similar accessories.

And now, when the iOS 14.2 is rolled out, it says,

To reduce exposure to RF energy, use a hands-free option, such as the built-in speakerphone, headphones, or other similar accessories.

The Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo first suggested that Apple will not have EarPods in the iPhone 12 box. Later, a leaker @L0vetodream confirmed that by doing this, Apple wants to boost AirPod sales. And he also said that the wall charger would be removed from the box. The wall charger will be removed not only from iPhone 12 devices but from other iPhone models also like iPhone SE.

As we all know, Apple Watch Series 6 and Apple Watch SE will not have a charger in the box. The products will just have a USB cable with it. At the time of September event, Apple has announced this and claims that most of the users already have a compatible charger.

Now, let’s just wait for the official announcement.
