MediaTek has launched the new gaming-focused chipset for 4G smartphones. On Tuesday, the Taiwan company announced about the new gaming chip added to the MediaTek Helio G Series family.

Helio G95 chipset has upgraded MediaTek HyperEngine game technology, connectivity, multi-camera support, and an AI Super-Resolution for video streams.

A deputy General Manager, Yenchi Lee, said in a statement,

“MediaTek continues to enhance its G series gaming chips to deliver robust performance and MediaTek Helio G95 is our most powerful gaming chip to date.”

The new chip is tried at the premium 4G gaming phone. The smartphones powered by Helio G95 will be launched in the market later this month. For mid-tier gaming devices, there are Helio chips G85, G80, and G70 Chipsets, and now comes MediaTek’s Helio G95. Recently, the company launched Helio G25 and G35 chips.

Features of MediaTek Helio G95 Chipset

The new chipset has improved the MediaTek HyperEngine game technology, multi-camera support and much more for video streams. It tries to give gaming fans the best performance and high-end features. It has support for multi-camera photography up to 4 cameras with the built-in AI processing unit.

The processor comes with a support of dual wake-up words and allows HDR10 standard display, which can be improved to approach HDR10+ quality. For excellent video calling, it offers an ‘AI Super Resolution’ display. With this, you can also do video streaming on different platforms like Hotstar, Netflix, and Amazon Prime.

MediaTek Helio G95 chip comes with Arm Cortex-A76 CPUs which operates up to 2.05GHz, six Cortex-A55 CPUs with the upgraded ARM Mali-g76 MC4. It operates up to 900 MHz for improved performance.

The chipset also supports different types of video qualities like 360p to 720p HD resolution in real-time. It has reduced the network bandwidth by 70% without making a difference in quality. It has FHD+ 90fps displays for fast response and smooth experience.

The company said,

“The chipset enables devices featuring up to a 64MP camera, with quad-pixel technology for incredible low-light results during night shots”.
