    • HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\16.0\Common\Identity
  3. Here, on the right pane, right-click on the space, click on New, and then on DWORD (32-bit Value). DWORD (32-bit Value)
  4. Name the new DWORD as EnableADAL
  5. Double-click on this DWORD to edit it
  6. Set the Value Data to 0 and then click on OK. DWORD as EnableADAL
  7. Restart your PC and then try to sign in again. 

7. Ensure there are no Licensing Issues

If your Microsoft 365 license has expired hen that can also be the cause of this issue. You can check this by following the steps given below-

  1. On your browser head to Office.com and sign into your account. 
  2. Click on your profile icon and then click on My Microsoft Account
