The final year of Mixcloud verified a cash infusion of $11.5 Million from media subsidizing office WndrCo, drove by Hollywood Media Owner Jeffrey Katzenberg.

Twenty million accounts of users disclosed during a data breach at Mixcloud, a United Kingdom audio streaming platform, after the data put on sale on the dark web. The breach of data happened in November.

The news of Data breaching came from similar sellers (Dark Web) who alerted the data breach of StockX earlier.

The algorithm of SHA-2 is used to scramble the data, which is in the form of usernames, email addresses as well as passwords and among which it is impossible to unscramble the passwords. In addition to this, the data includes the dates of sign-up and last login along with the nation from which it was logged in, IP address of systems and links to their display pictures.

It is still not crystal clear how much amount of data has been stolen. As said by the seller, there were twenty million records, but on the other side, it was listed on the dark web as 21 million records — the data contained for sale for $4,000, which is equal to 0.5 bitcoin.
