Rumours of a cage fight between Mark Zuckerberg and Elon Musk are stirring more interest than ever, as the billionaires are verbally pushing each other for war soon.
In a fresh tweet, Elon Musk said he’d live stream the fight on X, with the proceeds going to charity for veterans. And Zuckerberg replied to this (on Threads) that he’s ready for the match immediately and even proposed a date later this month.
A Billionaires Cage Fight
What started as a simple banter could now turn accurate, as the proposal for a cage fight between Elon Musk and Mark Zuckerberg is taking new heights, with each other exchanging heated words on their respective social media platforms.
To the unknown, Elon Musk, in his hobby of tweeting random and amusing things, called up a cage fight with Meta’s CEO, Mark Zuckerberg, one day. Since this seemed a funny call-up and the community is brushing away thoughts, Zuckerberg replied to this so-called cage match and asked for a time and date!
This stirred the community – considering Zuckerberg is a trained Jiu-Jitsu fighter, and Elon Musk is mad enough to pull the string – everyone thought a UFC-styled cage fight was on the cards. But these rumours were brushed off by Elon Musk’s mother when she said nothing of such would happen, and there’s been no update on this since then.
But now, both billionaires are verbally pushing each other again, with Musk stating a cage fight with Zuckerberg will be live-streamed on X (formerly Twitter), and the proceeds from this will be going to the charity for veterans.

And Zuckerberg replied to this on Threads, saying that he’s ready today and even proposed August 26th as the date. As we wait for Musk to confirm the schedule, Zuckerberg goes on to mock Musk’s decision to stream the fight on X – and asks for a “more reliable platform that can raise money for charity”.
What happens after this is yet to be known, but Elon Musk retweeted a WWE video depicting a rope jump – saying that he would adopt that fighting style in the upcoming match – whenever it could be.
