  6. In the Target field, add the following suffix after a space. -inprivate
  7. Click on Apply > OK to close the dialog box.

2. Enable Private Browsing on Apple Safari 

  1. Launch the Safari browser.
  2. Click on Safari > Preferences.
  3. Highlight the General tab.
  4. Click the dropdown beside Safari Opens With.
  5. Select the option A New Private Window.

Now, whenever you access Safari, it will open in a private window. If you are signed into the same Apple ID on different devices, you will see the private browsing window open up automatically.

3. Start Chrome Browser in incognito Mode by Default

  2. Type Internet Explorer.
  3. Right-click on the Chrome browser icon and select Open File Location.
  4. Navigate to the application file or .exe file of Internet Explorer.

  7. In the Target field, add the following suffix after a space. -incognito

5. Mozilla Firefox Private Browsing Mode

Another popular browsing app Mozilla has an option baked within its settings that allows you to start browsing on a private window. Here is how you can enable it.

  1. Open Mozilla Firefox on your PC.
  2. Click on the menu bar on the right-hand side.
  3. From the menu, select Settings.
