We’re just a couple of days away from Apple’s Far Out event, where the company usually launches new products – potentially the new iPhone series, Apple Watch, and others.
While we wait to see what’s coming up, a fresh CAD leak of the Apple Watch Pro Series 8 version shows a new button is added at the side. While the purpose of it is still a mystery, it’s expected to do something with the workout controlling – as the Pro version is aimed at athletes.
Apple Watch Pro Series 8 Leaks
In the upcoming Apple’s Far Out event, iPhone 14 series isn’t the only thing the community is excited about but also the Apple Watch Series 8. This time, Apple is expected to launch not just a standard new version of the Apple Watch but also a first-generation Pro variant of the Apple Watch, too.
This is said to be made of titanium, to be extra sturdy, thus aimed at athletes. It’s also reported to have a larger display (49mm) and be priced at $900-$1,000 apiece. While all these may not appease a standard consumer, we shall how Apple turns this out.
But before that, a fresh leak coming from 91mobiles reveals the Apple Watch Pro has an additional side button – without signifying any purpose of it just yet. While we expect it to be for handling the workouts – since it’s aimed at athletes, we may see other purposes for it too.
More information about this watch is already talked about before like it had rounded edges instead of flat ones. Although, the screen appears to have a flat design with very thin bezels. And with the previous leaks of cases of this special watch, we can see be fairly confident that it possesses a new side button.
Apple will showcase this Pro variant of the Apple Watch, aside from the new iPhone 14 lineup, AirPods Pro 2, and more, on September 7th, 2022.
