Google continues to add new phones to the eligible list of its ARCore platform, where devs in this field can make interesting AR applications for these devices.

The latest bunch includes a number of phones from Moto and Vivo, while some from Xiaomi, OnePlus, and others are available. All these devices can now run AR applications if tuned to suit them, by concerned developers.

New Phones to ARCore Platform

To the unknown, Google’s ARCore is a development suite made to let AR developers create interesting apps – that can be run on compatible Android-based devices. The suite has already produced a bunch of relevant apps, while many are gearing up to invest time and money for creating more.

As they pursue that path, Google on the other hand is continuously adding new phones to the ARCore compatibility list, with the recent ones being from Moto, Vivo, and others.

While some of them are from the mid-range segment, some are flagships like Motorola Razr, Moto Edge 30 Series, Vivo iQOO 9 Pro, Vivo X80 Lite 5G, Xiaomi 12T Pro, and Xiaomi Redmi Note 11 Pro+. Here’s the updated list;

  • Motorola g32
  • Motorola edge (2022)
  • Motorola edge 30 fusion
  • Motorola edge 30 neo
  • Motorola edge 30 ultra
  • Motorola Razr (2022)
  • OnePlus 10T 5G
  • Oppo F21s Pro 5G
  • Sharp AQUOS sense6s
  • Tecno Pova 4
  • Tecno Pova 4 Pro
  • Vivo iQOO 9 Pro
  • Vivo V25
  • Vivo V25 Pro
  • Vivo X80 Lite 5G
  • Vivo I2009
  • Vivo I2012
  • Vivo V2073A
  • Vivo V2202
  • Xiaomi 12T Pro
  • Xiaomi Redmi Note 11 Pro+

These phones join the growing list of ARCore-suitable devices, which also include the Google Pixel 7 series, Samsung Galaxy S23 series, and even handsets from lesser-known brands like Fujitsu, Sharp, and Zebra. This is the first time Google has added tens of phones in a month, as it barely announces a handful of devices in months.
