Instagram is gradually bringing its app features to the web version, one after one. The popular media sharing platform has just made it possible for viewing live streams via the web. While this version doesn’t increase the viewing size of the video, it fairly moves the comments section to a sidebar, thus making the stream unobstructed with flowing comments. So at least for this cause, it’s worth using the web version for streaming any long feeds.

Now Watch Live Streams In a Better Way

Instagram, along with WhatsApp, is one of the popular services from Facebook that users dwell hours daily. And the lockdown situations as current are making users rely more on such platforms for entertainment. And if you’re hunching back lazily or peeping into your phone always, consider this better option now. Instagram has finally bought, what we thought to be an app-only feature to the web version.

From now on, one can stream live videos from their favorite stars on Instagram on their computers! This was confirmed by Android Authority which has found this feature added to the web earlier today. While you expect an increase in the video display size because of the extended screen, there’s no change in that. It’s the same as in the phone, but just not congested. A notable thing here is the shifting of comments to a sidebar.

Yes, and this was cool. Now, the live streams will not be obstructed by flowing comments. As these were now moved onto a side panel, which shows the comments on a separate window. This makes the steam more visible, and better. Try and tell us how you feel about this added functionality.
