Nowadays, Social media is a part of everyone’s life, and with everything going digital, it can be difficult to keep track of all the devices your account is being used on. Having your Instagram logged in on a device that is not yours can potentially lead to privacy risks.

Though Instagram sends you an alert if someone tries to gain unauthorized access to your account, that won’t happen if your account is already logged in on their device. To avoid this, you must sign out of your Instagram account once you are done using it.

If you often find it difficult to manage the devices on which you use Instagram and want to log out of them then we will be helping you with that. This article will guide you on how you can log out of your Instagram account on all devices at once.

Remotely Log Out of Instagram on All Devices

If your Instagram account is logged in on a device you no longer have access to, then you can remotely log out of your device.

Instagram gives you the option to see what devices your account is logged in on as well as sign out your account on all of them. Here’s how to do that-

On Phone

  1. Open the Instagram app on your phone, and tap on the Profile icon at the bottom right.
  2. Now tap on the Hamburger icon on the top right corner to open Settings.
  3. Select the Account Center option.
  4. Under the Account Settings section, tap on Password and Security.
  5. Tap on the Where You’re Logged In option.
  6. You will see all the Meta profiles associated with your account; select the one you want to log out of.
  7. Scroll to the bottom and tap on Select Devices to Log Out.
  8. You can individually select the device you want to log out of or tap on Select All to log out of all the devices.
  9. Now tap on the Log Out option and confirm logging out.Log Out

Reset Your Instagram Password

The previous method works fine if you forget to log out of your account on a public computer or your friend’s device.

But if someone has your login credentials, they will be able to sign in to your account again, even if you log out on all the devices. To avoid this, you can change your account password.

On Phone

  1. Launch the Instagram app on your phone.
  2. Head to your Profile and tap on the menu icon at the top right.
  3. Select the Account Center option and then tap on Password and Security.
  4. Next, tap on the Change Password option.
  5. After this select the account you want to change the password of.
  6. Enter your current password as well as the new password you want to set.
  7. Once done, tap on the Change Password.

On PC

  1. Head over to the Instagram website on your PC’s browser.
  2. Click on the hamburger icon at the bottom left corner and then on Settings.
