Amidst Microsoft receiving strong criticism for a flawed update in its February patch, it’s now gearing up to launch a new Windows 10 version 2004. The firm has already launched an ISO version of this version 2004, and it’s preparing to roll out this officially in Spring this year. Even before that, here’s a list of few important improvements it did.

Cortana

Integration of Cortana into Office 365 made it more like a productivity assistant, rather than just a general digital assistant. Cortana is now improved for better conversations and tasks. It’s expanding it’s supported languages to other regional languages too. The window box where Cortana lies is movable in this update.

Quick searches in Search Home

Microsoft has added few quick searches in Home itself. The options include Weather, News, New Movies, Today in History and occasional quizzes. To view them all, press Start key + S.

A new tablet experience in 2-in-1 PCs

Introducing GPU temperature in Task Manager.

If you’re having a dedicated GPU within PC, you can now track the live temperatures of that in Task Manager. This gives you an idea about which apps causing much pressure on system graphics.

New Kaomojis

These are the expressions made by characters, like this – ಠ_ಠ, ಥ╭╮ಥ etc. These are added to general facial emojis, that can be accessed by clicking Win key + Semicolon. The updated version has more of these.

Connecting security camera to PC

CC and other network cameras that are capable of transmitting data over IP to phones, can now be connected to your PC to stream the content/footage directly.
