A new leak from a reliable leaker Evan Blass revealed that Motorola is soon coming with a new flagship handset – named the Moto Edge 40 Pro.

This is purportedly a rebrand of the Moto X40, which the company launched last year. If that’s the case, we knew all the specifications of this handset already, with no exciting terms as expected in the flagships from 2023. Anyhow, here are they;

Motorola’s New Flagship For 2023

In the age when everyone hypes new iPhones or Galaxy series, Motorola is maintaining its own circle with a few loyal users. The company launches at least one flagship phone every year, which stands a fair chance against the notable flagships from other OEMs.

In this pursuit, Motorola is coming with a new phone called the Moto Edge 40 Pro, which its renders leaked recently. These come from Evan Blass, a reliable leaker in the smartphone community. While we’re excited about the new Motorola flagship, Android Police says this could just be a rebranded Motorola Moto X40.

In that case, we can say that the upcoming phone has a 6.7″ AMOLED display, Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor with Adreno 740 GPU, 8GB RAM, and 128GB or 512GB RAM internal storage. Regarding imaging, you can find a triple camera setup on the rear with a 50MP main sensor, 50MP ultrawide, and 12MP telephoto lens. Upfront, there’s a 60MP lens for selfie needs.

With all the required connectivities like Bluetooth 5, WiFi 6e, USB-C, and NFC, it supports an In-display fingerprint sensor and has a 4,600mAh battery – supporting 120W wired charging speed, 15W wireless charging, and 5W reverse wireless charging.

With all these features, Moto’s upcoming Edge 40 Pro seems like any other common device in 2023. While all the OEMs are focusing on specific parts of their handsets to make them stand out, Motorola isn’t doing much on that front. Well, the company is anyway launching this phone soon, hopefully with some perks to keep it standing out from the competition.
