Nvidia’s GeForce RTX 4070 is all set to launch on April 13th, says a reliable leaker this time. This GPU is said to be an affordable one from the green team – comparable to that to the cost of RTX 3080.

Leaked specifications of RTX 4070 include the GPU’s architecture, the number of CUDA cores, its bearing, memory and the compute performance score. More details of this card could be revealed next week at the GTC event.

Nvidia GeForce RTX 4070 Specifications

Following the launch of RTX 4070 Ti, Nvidia is now gearing up to launch the standard version of it – the GeForce RTX 4070 GPU. This card is expected to launch on April 13th, 2023 – as reported by a reliable leaker. This date aligns with the previous rumours saying the same launch period.

Regarding specifications, the upcoming RTX 4070 will have 5888 CUDA cores – 1782 fewer cores  than its Ti counterpart. Based on the AD104 architecture, the RTX 4070 has the same memory specs as the 4070Ti, so we expect the card to come with 12GB memory across a 192-bit interface.

With a TDP of 200W, the standard RTX 4070 is much more efficient than its Ti counterpart – which has a 285W TDP rating. Yet, the card is expected to have 29 TFLOPS of FP32 compute performance – good at the 200W TDP range.

Regarding the memory bandwidth, the RTX 4070 GPU is said to have 504 GB/s speeds. Well, what’s interesting is the touted pricing, which is tagged at $699 – the same as the launch price of RTX 3080. Nvidia CEO is set to take the stage on March 21, 2023, at the GTC event, so that we can expect more news regarding this card soon.
