A Canadian network operator named Fido has just updated its support page to include Galaxy S22 series, Fold 4, and Flip 4 to be receiving the One UI 5.1 update soon.

The date is scheduled for February 22nd โ€“ just a few days after Samsung is shipping the initial Galaxy S23 series out. Other eligible devices for the same update may receive it later, probably by the end of February.

One UI 5.1 For Galaxy S22 Series

All the Galaxy fans whoโ€™re eagerly waiting for the next One UI update from Samsung โ€“ hereโ€™s it โ€“ One UI 5.1 is coming to Galaxy S22 Series, Fold 4, and Flip 4 devices on February 22nd! Well, this is only for those living in Canada, as the update is being done by Fido โ€“ a Canadian network carrier.

The company updated its OS upgrade schedule for the above devices to pass the latest One UI update โ€“ alongside February 2023 security patch on the same date. This is just a few days after the first Galaxy S23 shipments move out on February 17. And we can also expect Samsung to roll out this update internationally in the very same week.

Samsungโ€™s One UI 5.1 brings a range of enhancements to your device โ€“ including the ability to co-edit Samsung Notes on Google Meet calls, an iOS-style home screen battery widget, an improved setup wizard revamped Gallery app with subject recognition, etc.

As for which devices are eligible for receiving the update โ€“ you should check its support window status. If itโ€™s still having this section open and running, you will soon get it. And for timeline, consider getting the update based on its model and cost โ€“ where the cheaper and older receive the update late.
