Announcing this partnership, Alston Cheek, Snapchat’s Platform Partnerships Director, said,

“The Verishop Mini makes it easy and fun for our community to shop fashion and beauty favorites expertly curated just for them, right alongside their friends on Snapchat.”

Verishop Mini can be seen in the rocket section of Snapchat and has a search function to find products. The shop features a wide catalog of fashion products from various independent brands like Bebe, Richer Poorer, Fifth & Ninth, Ganni, Faithfull the Brand, Labucq, Dannijo, etc., rotational basis.

Also, Verishop Mini uses Snapchat’s AR functionality to let users try on some products virtually, like sunglasses and lipstick shades. Further, users can share their finds with friends on Snap internally to ask for opinions.

With the latest stats saying that over 55 percent of consumers shopping in marketplace apps more now than before the pandemic, Snapchat’s integration with Verishop should garner good results.
