In the latest version of WhatsApp beta for Android and iOS, WaBetaInfo found a new chat support option. This is official support offered by WhatsApp users to its users.

Apart from this, it’s also found that the platform is working on animations to different colored heart emojis. Further, there are new notification settings for iOS users to set which notifications they wanted to receive. And finally, there are new tools coming to edit photos and videos within the app.

WhatsApp to Soon Introduce In-App Chat Support For its Users

The ever-reliable WhatsApp reporter, WaBetaInfo found in-app chat support from WhatsApp guys, to help users in case they need something. This is seen in the WhatsApp Android client v2.22.3.5 and iOS client v22.2.72, and can be reached at Settings > Help > Contact us.

This section displays a message as “We will respond to you in a WhatsApp chat,” where you are left with a box to write something for the support team. And the team will revert to you through its official chat account, which you can verify by seeing the green tick mark next to its profile.

A thing to note here is – WhatsApp will collect a snippet of data from you, in order to be more helpful. And this could include the technical and diagnostic information like your device’s model number, network connection details, WhatsApp version you’re running on, and settings. Well, users can opt-out of this to remain private too,

Aside from this, there’s support for animations added to other heart emojis in WhatsApp. As seen in the iOS beta version 22.2.72, the platform is testing this support after being tried with red heart emoji in past.

Finally, there’s a new notification setting coming to iOS, which allows iPhone users to manage notification sounds and also pick which notifications they want to receive. And finally, there’s adding of new drawing tools to edit images and videos within the app.
