Xiaomi is rolling out the stable Android 13-based MIUI 14 update for Xiaomi 11T and Poco F4, a month after the initial rollout of Xiaomi 13 series.

With a download size of 3.5GB, this update is available for only those registered in the Mi Pilot program and has their devices running on December 2022 Android security patch. It brings a lot of significant changes and app optimizations, says Xiaomi.

MIUI 14 For Xiaomi Phones

Evolving in the software phase, Xiaomi developed MIUI 14 with a bunch of improvements to aid its customers with eligible devices. First announced in December 2022, Xiaomi rolled out this update to its flagship series – Xiaomi 13, on launch.

Aside from visual refresh, this stable update based on Android 13 has the system architecture updated to optimize CPU, GPU, and memory resources. It’s said to have a lighter system firmware size and decreased memory usage when compared to its predecessor.

Named Project Razor, Xiaomi claims that MIUI 14 is 60% smoother compared to MIUI 13 on Xiaomi 12S Ultra. And on a bigger note, only eight system apps cannot be uninstalled – which is a major development in MIUI evolution!

And it’s even better for Xiaomi tablets and laptops, as they get the added benefit of easy keyboard and mouse switching, a screen mirroring feature, and extended display functionality. All these benefits of MIUI 14 are now coming to two more devices – Xiaomi 11T and Poco F4.

Rolling this update to them, Xiaomi named the new firmware version for 11T as MIUI 14.0.3.0 TKWMIXM and MIUI 14.2.0 TLMEUXM for Poco F4. With a download size of about 3.5GB, this update is available to those who enrolled in Mi Pilot program only and limited to the European region of Poco F4 users. But for Xiaomi 11T, it’s a global rollout.
