Fresh leaks of iPhone 15 Pro reveal the handset’s renders, depicting the model’s display design, button sizes, and placement, and the USB connector style.

These renders are CAD images obtained from a factory in China, which the OEM usually sends for making suitable cases. Leaked stuff reveals the phone uses a USB-C port, a thicker camera bump, the display frame is more curved than before, etc.

iPhone 15 Pro Leaks

Apple’s iPhone 15 Series is still months away, but that didn’t stop the leakers and tipsters to pass updates on how these devices would be. In this pursuit, one of the handsets from this upcoming bunch – the iPhone 15 Pro has its renders leaked from a Chinese factory.

These are the CAD renders obtained by 9to5Mac, which are usually shared between OEMs to make suitable gadgets for the concerned device. And in this case, it might be about the safety case for iPhone 15 Pro. As per them, the handset is seen to finally move away from the lightning port concept to a USB-C option – as forced by the EU and several other countries.

Apple is seen switching to USB-C mode in its latest iPad Pro, and now it’s the turn of iPhones. Further, the handset is seen transitioning from glass to a metal frame and more curved to offer a better grip for the holders. Hopefully, this makes the phone less prone to slipping from the hands.

Regarding the camera, the rear bumper has gotten a little thicker this time, although the layout of the sensors remains unchanged. This suggests the usage of bigger lenses in iPhone 15 Pro, a needed upgrade to this handset. Finally, the renders also show the shift of volume rockers and the mute switch to capacitive ones instead of the regular physical buttons.

Overall, the handset is measured to be smaller by a few millimeters than its predecessor, with thinner bezels, but the display is still at 6.1″ size. We may see more details pouring in in the coming months and for all the handsets in this series.
