To make your work among multiple devices easier, OnePlus has developed a new app called Clipt, a seamless and secure way to transfer your files between devices. This service has both the mobile app and a browser extension, which acts as a link for passing your recently copied images, text, URLs, etc., among devices. Clipt is said to be using Google’s Drive for storing the content.
OnePlus New App For Content Sharing
If you’re one of those handling two devices to process your daily work, you may often require sharing content among them. Be it a text, image, video, or webpage URL. You got to share some of them from your mobile to your computer or vice versa. And what’s the best way to do it than Clipt, which OnePlus announces for such individuals.
Clipt aims to bridge the gap between your devices, so you can seamlessly share files among them. The creators, OnePlus’ OneLab team, said,
“Once installed, you can copy on one device and paste on another or use it to send files back and forth easily, connected to as many devices as you’d like.”
This service got an Android app and a browser extension to link the devices. A similar tunnel for iOS and macOS devices is in the works. While you’re thinking it another application like Share it, it’s not. Rather, it just saves the recently copied content from one device and lets you paste it on the other. This linkage is made possible by using Google’s Drive, says OnePlus.
Yes, Clipt relies on Google cloud storage for saving your clipboard content for making this happen. You can save upto 10 recently copied contents in it, which will be deleted later automatically to save the space.
