As expected, Apple launched a yellow-colored iPhone 14 and 14 Plus for the spring season – hoping to rake in more sales in the slow-going period.

These new devices have no internal changes but external color. Interested people can pre-order the yellow iPhone 14s on March 10th, with regular sales starting on March 14th.

An Yellow Colored iPhone 14

To invoke the disappearing interest of fans, Apple started a trend of launching a color-renewed iPhone every spring. In this pursuit, we see an yellow-colored iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus coming to the public this week.

The same has been rumored since earlier this week, with renders and designs of this yellow-colored iPhone popping up on social media. While we expect the Pro models to get this color, too, Apple decided to go with the routine of revamping only the standard and Plus models.

The new color adds up to the current options of black, blue, purple, white, and red. This isn’t the first time Apple is releasing a yellow-colored iPhone, as we earlier saw the same happening with iPhone 11 in 2019. And last year, it was an “alpine green” iPhone 13 and 13 Pro, succeeding a purple-colored iPhone 12 and 12 minis a year earlier.

While these phones don’t come with any internal changes, they’re relaunched with new colors to help Apple sell more iPhones in its slow period – followed by a high-sale holiday period. Interested people can preorder the new yellow iPhone 14 or 14 Plus Friday, March 10th, and they’ll be coming on March 14th.

Aside from these, Apple has also announced new Watch band colors and silicone iPhone cases themed on the spring season.
