Lenovo’s New Age Offerings

Lenovo, just like other OEMs teasing their upcoming products, has showcased its updated ThinkPad laptops and ThinkCentre monitors at the ongoing MWC event. While it’s got a bunch to display, the most notable one is the IdeaPad Duet 3i – which the company updated to pack a bigger screen and more powerful CPU.

As per its announcement, the refreshed Lenovo IdeaPad Duet 3i has a 2-in-1 11.5″ IPS panel with a 2,000×1,200p resolution, 100% DCI-P3 coverage, with 400 nits of peak brightness. Running on Windows 11, this device packs a 5MP front camera, while the rear is set to 8MP. The system is run on a new Intel N200 processor – featuring 4 cores and 4 threads with maximum clocking speeds of up to 3.7GHz.

Regarding storage, the new IdeaPad Duet 3i contains 8GB RAM and 256GB of internal storage. And for connectivity, it supports WiFi 6, Bluetooth 5.1 connectivity, and an option to pair the device with a stylus! Calling this a perfect device for students, Lenovo has set a price tag of €449 (about $473) in Europe for this device, coming later this year.

Further, Lenovo has also updated its IdeaPad Slim 3 Chromebooks to include three variants – differed by display size and quality. The first one of this 14″ laptop is a Full HD model with an IPS panel, offering 100% sRGB coverage and 300 nits of brightness. The second one comes in an FHD display model with a TN panel and 250 nits of brightness.

And the last one comes with a 1,366x768p resolution, with not many changes. All these have the same hardware under the hood, with up to 8GB of RAM, 128GB of eMMC storage, and powered by a MediaTek Kompanio 520 CPU. Claiming this laptop to run for 13.5 hours on a single charge, Lenovo fixed a price of $340 for the high-end model of this IdeaPad Slim 3 series, coming in May this year.
